2009 Comic-Con (DAY 1)

This past weekend, thousands crammed into the San Diego Convention Center for the 2009 Comic-Con International, the annual "geek fest" celebrating all things comic book and "related popular art forms." Recently movies have dominated the festivities, so I thought I would give you guys a quick rundown of the movies from Day 1 that were presented this week at the convention:

A Christmas Carol (3D)

Starring: Jim Carrey, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Bob Hoskins, Robin Wright Penn
Director: Robert Zemeckis
Synopsis: Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late. Alice in Wonderland

Tron: Legacy

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
