Jon Bon Jovi went into the recording studio with exiled Iranian singer Andy Madadian to record a new version of Ben E. King's "Stand By Me." The video is intended to support the independence of the Iranian people. The recording was not designed to be sold. Instead, it is meant to be distributed online to demonstrate solidarity with the Iranian protesters (The first verse is sung in Farsi, the language widely spoken in Iran).
