Obama at the All-Star Game

Tuesday night at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO: President Barack Obama threw out the ceremonial first pitch to St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols before this year's Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Obama is now the first sitting president since Gerald Ford in 1976 to throw out the first pitch at an All-Star Game.

The President showed some "south-side love" by sporting a Chicago White Sox jacket - when explaining why he wore White Sox gear he said: "Everybody knows I'm a White Sox fan, and my wife thinks I look cute in this jacket. Between those two things...why not?"

Check out the video of Obama's first pitch here:

The American League ended up defeated the National League 4 to 3. The American League All-Star team has now won 12 of the last 13 All-Star games (there was a TIE in 2002).
