Music Monday #4

So I totally forgot about 'Music Monday' last week. Oh well...here is my pick for this week. This is a song I first heard on the soundtrack for the movie, Juno. It is called "Sea of Love" by Cat Power. The song was originally written and recorded by Phil Phillips in 1959. It has been covered by many different artists including Del Shannon, The Honeydrippers, and Robert Plant. However, Cat Power's version is by far my favorite. It is a beautiful, yet quite haunting love song.
